NABLUS, West Bank (Reuters) - Israeli troops killed a militant from the armed wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, the group said.

A spokesman from the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade said that one of its members was killed by undercover Israeli forces operating in the West Bank city of Nablus.

An Israeli army spokesman said the army was looking into the details of the incident.

Israeli forces frequently raid West Bank towns in search of militants suspected of involvement in attacks against Israelis.
