Thales confirms wins Airbus plane parts deal

PARIS Jan 22 (Reuters) - Thales (TCFP.PA) on Tuesday confirmed it had been picked by Airbus (EAD.PA) to supply avionics and cockpit systems in a deal the defence electronics company sees generating up to 2 billion euros over 20 years.

The statement confirmed details given by Thales Chief Executive Denis Ranque on Monday at a New Year press conference. (Reporting by Marie Maitre)
