Soccer-Roundup 3-Boumsong leaves Juventus for Lyon

* Defender Jean-Alain Boumsong has left Juventus for Olympique Lyon for a transfer fee of three million euros ($4.40 million), the French champions said on their Web site (

The Cameroon-born Boumsong, 28, who has 22 caps for France, has signed a three and a half year contract.

Lyon need a defender with Brazilian Cleber Anderson out for the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
