Soccer-Roundup 3-Boumsong leaves Juventus for Lyon

PARIS Jan 26 (Reuters) - Soccer news in brief from around the world:

* Defender Jean-Alain Boumsong has left Juventus for Olympique Lyon for a transfer fee of three million euros ($4.40 million), the French champions said on their Web site (www.olweb.fr).

The Cameroon-born Boumsong, 28, who has 22 caps for France, has signed a three and a half year contract.

Lyon need a defender with Brazilian Cleber Anderson out for the rest of the season because of a knee injury.

* Portuguesa have agreed to sell defender Leonardo, 22, to Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus, the Brazilian club said on their Web site (www.portuguesa.com.br).

* Panionios said left back Nikos Spyropoulos, 24, was joining Greek rivals Panathinaikos for a transfer fee of two million euros. (Editing by Tony Jimenez)
