LONDON (Reuters) - Premier League clubs will be able to name seven substitutes in league matches next season, the Premier League said on Thursday.

Only three of the seven will be able to be used but it will give coaches more options when making changes. Currently three from five named substitutes can be used.

The new regulations gained a majority vote at a Premier League board meeting.
