DSG says up to 800 jobs affected by Italian closures
LONDON, April 29 |
LONDON, April 29 (Reuters) - Pan-European electrical goods company DSG International DSGI.L, which owns Italy's UniEuro, said on Tuesday up to 800 jobs could be affected after identifying around 40 Italian stores which will be considered for closure in the next two years.
There will definitely be job losses, a spokesman for DSG said, but it was not yet known how many of the 800 staff can be transferred to DSG's other 150 stores in Italy.
More information will be given in a May 15 trading statement, the spokesman said on Tuesday.
