Gold Bullion Holdings sells 2 gold ETFs to ETF Securities

LONDON, June 27 (Reuters) - Gold Bullion Holdings will sell the management and control of two of its gold bullion securities products to ETF Securities, the companies said in a statement on Friday.

Lyxor Gold Bullion Securities is listed on the London Stock Exchange (GBSx.L), Euronext Paris, Borsa Italiana and the Deutsche Boerse while Gold Bullion Securities (GOLD.AX) is listed in Australia.

As of June 25, holdings in the London product were $3.3 billion, or 115 tonnes of gold, and holdings in the Australian product were $300 million or 11 tonnes of gold.

World Gold Council (WGC) is the majority-owner of Gold Bullion Holdings.

The companies said the sale will not involve any changes to any of the operations and not impact investors in the securities in any way.
