KIEV Jan 14 (Reuters) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said on Wednesday Kiev and Moscow would "manage" to solve the issue of gas supplies to Ukraine alone.

"Talks on gas supplies to Ukraine are bilateral between Ukraine and Russia and I think we will manage," she said in answer to a question to whether Kiev would invite the European Union to help in negotiations.

Energy Minister Yuri Prodan previously said the EU should get involved in talks.
