Fortescue Metals says has held talks

SYDNEY Feb 19 (Reuters) - Australian iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group (FMG.AX) has held talks with a range of parties seeking to explore investment opportunities, it said in a statement on Thursday.

On Wednesday the company said it had held talks with Anglo American Plc (AAL.L) and China's sovereign wealth fund about possible investment opportunities, after receiving a query about a move in its share price from the Australian stock exchange.
