Shares in Einhell (EING_p.DE), a German company that produces electric garden tools, soar 14.6 percent as one of the biggest gainers in Germany's stocks universe .PG.DE, after the company releases a good set of preliminary 2008 results. "The bottom line looks pretty good and this certainly came unexpected", says GSC Research analyst Klaus Kraenzle.
The company posts 2008 earnings before interest and tax of 18.4 million euros ($25.20 million), ahead of forecasts.

European shares edge up as Wall Street opens higher with oils major gainers as crude CLc1 holds above $50 a barrel a day after surging 7 percent and Bayer BAYG.DE soaring after it wins backing for its key new drug against blood clots.
The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index of top shares is up 0.1 percent at 715.74 points.
Energy stocks, Cairn Energy (CNE.L), Premier Oil (PMO.L) and Tullow Oil (TLW.L) are up 2.2-3.4 percent.
Elsewhere, Bayer gains 7.3 percent following a green light for the German company's key new drug Xarelto from a U.S. panel, putting it on track to win approval in its largest market.
