France's Vinci wins $114 mln in German contracts

PARIS, April 1 (Reuters) - Vinci (SGEF.PA) has won two deals worth a total of 86 million euros ($113.6 million) in Germany, the world's largest public works and transport concessions group said on Wednesday.

One unit, SKE Technischer Service GmbH, has signed a deal with the U.S. government to maintain 54 schools in Germany and Belgium over five years, Vinci said in a statement.

SKE Facility Management GmbH, another unit of Vinci, has signed a 81 million euro deal with the German city of Nuremberg to finance, build and run four schools, the statement added.

Vinci competes with Spain's Abertis Infraestructuras (ABE.MC), Italy's Atlantia (ATL.MI) and constructors such as Germany's Hochtief HOTL.DE and Bouygues (BOUY.PA).
