FRANKFURT/LONDON May 4 (Reuters) - Germany's Deutsche Post DHL (DPWGn.DE) has no plans for now to take a stake in Britain's Royal Mail [GBPO.UL], financial sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Monday.

The Bonn-based group that is Europe's biggest mail and express delivery company has not submitted a bid for Royal Mail and is not interested in pursuing a deal at this stage, the sources said.

Deutsche Post, Dutch rival TNT TNT.AS and financial investor CVC [CVC.UL] had put out feelers toward British Mail, the sources said.

The British government is seeking an investor for the postal operator to help it sharpen its business edge. London is offering a 30 percent stake.

Deutsche Post had no comment. Royal Mail was not immediately available for comment.
