FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Fiat's (FIA.MI) proposal for a deal to take over some of General Motors's (GM.N) assets would generate annual savings of about 1.4 billion euros ($1.9 billion) after 2015, according to slides obtained by Reuters.

The deal would include GM Europe as well as assets in South America and South Africa, the presentation showed.

Overcapacity in car production would be handled through "progressive right-sizing" as well as some factory closures, though they did not include car assembly plants in Germany. (Reporting by Maria Sheahan)
