LONDON (Reuters) - Cashbox, the AIM-listed provider of automated telling machines (ATMs), said on Monday it had agreed a five-year deal with BT Group to enable its ATMs to become Wi-Fi hotspots.

The high speed wireless broadband service will initially be available in 10 of Cashbox's 2,500 client locations across the UK, including Tiger Tiger bars in London, Manchester, and Glasgow.

Cashbox also said May was a record month for transactions as customers found cash preferable to credit in the current economic climate.
