BRIEF-Soccer-Pisa's Ventura to become Bari coach
MILAN, June 27 |
MILAN, June 27 (Reuters) - Gian Piero Ventura will be the new coach of Bari, the promoted Serie A side said on Saturday following Antonio Conte's surprise departure this week.
Bari said in a statement that Ventura, currently in charge of Serie B's Pisa, will sign a one-year contract with the option of a further season.
Ex-Juventus captain Conte left Bari on Tuesday after falling out with club bosses just weeks after winning promotion and agreeing a new deal.
