JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - British and Irish Lions lock Simon Shaw was cited for alleged dangerous play following the 28-9 final test win over South Africa on Saturday.

Shaw, 36, received a yellow card after 37 minutes for striking scrum half Fourie du Preez with his knee and will face a hearing on Sunday, the South African Rugby Union said on its website (http//www.sarugby.co.za).

The Englishman was the second Lion to be cited on the 10-match tour after Scot Nathan Hines, who received a one-week ban for a dangerous tackle during the 13-13 draw against the Emerging Springboks.

The hosts wore white armbands calling for justice after Bakkies Botha's appeal against a two-match suspension, following a dangerous charge on Lions prop Adam Jones in the second test, was turned down.
