Mexico June oil output down 11 pct vs year ago

MEXICO CITY, July 24 (Reuters) - Mexican oil production fell to 2.519 million barrels per day in June, down 11.1 percent from the same period in 2008, state oil company Pemex said on Friday.

Oil exports dropped 12.7 percent in June from a year earlier to 1.236 million bpd, Pemex said.

The fall in June oil production was exacerbated by planned maintenance. Pemex previously announced that overhauls on production facilities at its two main oil fields would cut approximately 45,800 bpd from June output. (Reporting by Robert Campbell; Editing by David Gregorio)
