U.S. condemns attack in Iran and denies involvement

WASHINGTON Oct 18 (Reuters) - The United States condemned a suicide bombing that killed six senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards commanders and denied it had anything to do with it.

"We condemn this act of terrorism and mourn the loss of innocent lives. Reports of alleged U.S. involvement are completely false," U.S. State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said in a brief statement.
