Greece names Zervos to head Public Power Corp

ATHENS Nov 24 (Reuters) - Greece on Tuesday named Arthouros Zervos to head state-controlled Public Power Corp (PPC) (DEHr.AT), the country's biggest utility provider.

"The Greek state, as a shareholder, is going to propose to the Dec 15 extraordinary general assembly of PPC (to appoint) professor Arthouros Zervos for the position of chairman and CEO," the ministry of finance and the ministry of energy and environment said in a joint statement.
