SHANGHAI Dec 16 (Reuters) - Consumer goods company Unilever's (ULVR.L)(UNc.AS) annual China sales have reached 1 billion euros ($1.46 billion) and annual growth is expected to be at least 15 percent, fuelled by rising affluence in the world's third-largest economy, a top executive said on Wednesday.

"I'm not doing a good job if (sales) growth doesn't reach 15 or 16 percent," Alan Jope, Unilever's China president, told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference. ($1=.6875 Euro) (Reporting by Samuel Shen and Jacqueline Wong; Editing by Edmund Klamann)
