LONDON Jan 14 (Reuters) - Britain's Ministry of Defence said on Thursday it had signed a 10-year contract worth 865 million pounds ($1.41 billion) with Rolls-Royce (RR.L) to service engines for Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft.

The ministry said in a statement that the agreement would help to sustain up to 3,000 highly skilled jobs throughout Rolls-Royce and its supply chain. (Reporting by Adrian Croft; Editing by Tim Castle)
