Shares in Italian fund manager Azimut (AZMT.MI) rise on positive broker comment on its January funds data, which one broker says include a stronger product mix.

On Monday, Azimut said net inflows into its funds were 264 million euros ($361.9 million). They included 179 million euros into its managed assets such as discretionary accounts.

"The data for January are positive and evidence of the improvement of the mix of products also thanks to the recent launch of new products," a Milan broker says.

"The correction of the share appears excessive," it says. Last Friday the share fell to a two-month low.
