Seoul shares open higher; KB Financial rises

SEOUL Feb 26 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened higher on Friday helped by rebounds in tech and financial shares, with KB Financial Group (105560.KS) gaining after losses in the previous session on talk of accounting discrepancies in its banking unit.

Shares in KB Financial Group were up 0.61 percent and peer Woori Finance Holdings (053000.KS) climbed 1.15 percent.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was up 0.55 percent at 1,596.22 points as of 0003 GMT.
