 MILAN, March 10 (Reuters) - The following factors could
affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

  * TELCOM ITALIA (TLIT.MI)
 The Italian post office would be interested in playing a
role in the spin-off of Telecom's fixed-line network were it to
happen, Poste Italiane CEO Massimo Sarmi said in an interview
with Il Sole 24 Ore.
 
 TERNA (TRN.MI)
 Power demand in Italy rose 2.1 percent on the year in
February to 26 billion kilowatt hours, confirming the trend in
recent months of a slow recovery in demand, national grid

 The world is currently awash in cheap natural gas but low
prices and an economic recovery could spur a price recovery in
the not too distant future, said Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni.

 The Benetton family's holding company Sintonia could be
interested in energy investments, including Finmeccanica unit
Ansaldo Energia and assets that Eni is seeking to sell, Il Sole

  * PIAGGIO (PIA.MI)
 McKinsey is studying a plan to integrate Piaggio and Ducati,
MF said in an unsourced report. The study, in which an Italian
private equity fund is interested, is still at a preliminary
phase, the paper said, adding McKinsey declined to comment.
 
 ACEA (ACE.MI)
 The company priced its 500 mln euro 2020 bond on Tuesday,
saying request had come inabove 2.3 billion euros.
