Cameron, Clegg seen doing well in election TV debate

LONDON (Reuters) - The first two polls taken after Britain's second televised election debate gave conflicting results, with one saying Conservative leader David Cameron had won while another said Liberal Democrat Nick Clegg had won.

The YouGov poll for the Sun newspaper put Cameron in first place with 36 percent, Clegg in second with 32 percent, and Prime Minister Gordon Brown last with 29 percent.

The ComRes poll for ITV News put Clegg ahead with 33 percent, with Cameron and Brown on the same score at 30 percent.
