SYDNEY Aug 3 (Reuters) - Women's world number one Serena Williams and men's number two Novak Djokovic will head a quality field at next year's Hopman Cup, organisers said on Tuesday.

Belgium's seven-times grand slam singles champion Justine Henin will also take part for the first time at the mixed teams championships in Perth from Jan. 1-8.

Djokovic, the 2008 Australian Open champion, will team up with former French Open winner Ana Ivanovic in a Serbian dream team while Williams will be partnered by John Isner.

The big-serving Isner won the longest tennis match ever at Wimbledon this year when he beat France's Nicolas Mahut 70-68 in the fifth set.

"I'm looking forward to going back to the Hopman Cup," Djokovic said in a statement. "It was a good preparation for the Australian Open."

Gael Monfils will also take part for France while veteran Australian Lleyton Hewitt is scheduled to carry the local hopes with a partner yet to be confirmed.
