LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Mark your calendars, Twihards. The final film in the "Twilight" vampire franchise will come out on November 16, 2012 in the U.S.

Part two of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" will hit cinemas a year after part one. This is despite both films being shot back-to-back in the fall by director Bill Condon.

Distributor Summit Entertainment split Stephenie Meyer's 900-page "Breaking Dawn" book into two films after realizing it was too complex to be adapted into a single movie.

The third film, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," is nearing the end of its North American run with sales to date of $289 million (182 million pounds), still $7 million short of the tally for the previous film, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," released last November.
