HELSINKI Jan 31 (Reuters) - Google's (GOOG.O) Android overtook long-time market leader, Nokia's (NOK1V.HE) Symbian, as the most popular smartphone platform in the fourth quarter, research firm Canalys said on Monday. All phone makers sold a total of 32.9 million Android phones in the last quarter, compared with Symbian's total sales of 31 million in the quarter, the researcher said.
