OSLO/LONDON, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Gas exports from Norway to the rest of Europe were ramping up Wednesday following a brief shutdown at the country's biggest gas field, Troll, and normal operations resumed at a major gas processing plant, Kaarstoe.
National Grid data showed gas supplies via the Langeled pipeline to Britain, were gradually resuming early on Wednesday, climbing to 63 million cubic metres (mcm) per day at 1122 GMT, from around 15 mcm seen overnight.
British within-day gas prices fell on Wednesday as gas supply from Norway resumed, taking pressure off prices across the board.
Gas for immediate delivery dived to a low of 51.75 pence per therm at 0900 GMT, down from around 55 pence late on Tuesday. <^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Exports from the Kaarstoe processing plant on Norway's North Sea coast returned to normal on Wednesday after technical and power supply problems.
"Kaarstoe is now back in normal production," said Gassco spokeswoman Lisbet Kallevik.

Gassco said there were no problems to report at other Gassco processing plants.
Separately, the giant Ormen Lange gas field, which shut down production unexpectedly on Friday, was operating as normal again, operator Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L) said.
