- The bid and award for the operation and management contract of the existing Light Rail Transit 1 and Metro Rail Transit 3 had been deferred at a later date from an original schedule of July 11 to give incoming Transportation secretary to assume his new post on July 1 and review the proposals of 16 bidders vying for the contract.
