SAO PAULO Aug 8 (Reuters) - Eletrobras (ELET6.SA), Brazil's state-run utility company, plans to invest 12.6 billion reais ($7.9 billion) in 2012, Chief Executive Jose da Costa Carvalho Neto said at a public event on Monday.
