TORONTO Aug 9 (Reuters) - Olympic champion Andy Murray has withdrawn from the Toronto Masters with a left knee injury, the Briton said on Thursday.

Murray, who suffered the injury while chasing down a forehand in the second set of his opening match on Wednesday, was scheduled to play Canadian Milos Raonic later on Thursday in third round action. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; Editing by Brian Homewood)
