Nikkei suffers biggest drop in eight months as yen rebounds
TOKYO, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei share average fell 2.6 percent on Wednesday, its biggest one-day drop in eight months, as a rebound in the yen prompted investors to take profits on shares of exporters. The Nikkei lost 278.64 points to 10,600.44, while the broader Topix shed 2 percent to 888.11.
