ARSENAL 2 READING 0

Arsenal were on cruise control throughout against a disappointing Reading side in real danger of going down.

Emmanuel Adebayor produced a clinical finish after half an hour, his 21st league goal of the season, and Gilberto Silva's deflected shot made it 2-0 eight minutes later. It was only Arsenal's second win in nine league games.

BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 MANCHESTER UNITED 1

Leaders United were given a huge scare at Ewood Park where they trailed until the 88th minute.

Roque Santa Cruz put Blackburn ahead after 21 minutes and the visitors could find no way past an inspired Brad Friedel in the Rovers goal until Carlos Tevez flicked in a late header.  Continued...
