Soccer - Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira travelled to Manchester on Wednesday for talks with former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson about a possible return to the Lisbon club, Portuguese media reported.
Eriksson coaches Manchester City but British media have suggested he may leave at the end of the season because Thai owner Thaksin Shinawatra is unhappy with the club's performance.
Eriksson won the Portuguese league three times and reached the final of the Champions League (1990) and UEFA Cup (1983), during two spells with Benfica.
Soccer - Levski Sofia named Velislav Vutsov as their new coach, replacing Stanimir Stoilov who was sacked earlier on Wednesday, the club said.
"No doubt, it's a dream come true," said delighted Vutsov. "I'm really pleased that I was invited to coach the biggest club in Bulgaria."
Soccer - AC Milan playmaker Kaka has said he would try to sign Barcelona forward Lionel Messi if he were Milan chief exceutive Adriano Galliani. Continued...
