Soccer-Colo Colo players refuse to train in bonus row
SANTIAGO, March 24 (Reuters) - Players at Chilean champions Colo Colo refused to train on Monday because of a row over bonus payments.
Their strike came three days before they face South American champions Boca Juniors away in a Libertadores Cup tie.
"There was a demand by the players and the directors made an offer but they (the players) didn't agree," coach Claudio Borghi told reporters.
"As a result, they haven't signed something which should have been signed a long time ago -- the bonuses for the Libertadores."
Colo Colo, who have won four successive Chilean titles, beat Boca 2-0 at home in the first meeting of the teams last Thursday.
