NICE, France, May 3 (Reuters) - Olympique Lyon missed a chance to close in on a seventh consecutive Ligue 1 title when they were held to a goalless draw at mid-table Nice on Saturday.

Leaders Lyon now have 73 points, five ahead of second-placed Girondins Bordeaux, with two games left.

Six times champions Lyon struck the bar twice before the interval through Juninho and Jeremy Toulalan but failed to score the goal that would have increased the pressure on Bordeaux, who play at Olympique Marseille on Sunday (1855 GMT).

"We lacked motivation and enthusiasm to create danger," Lyon coach Alain Perrin told reporters.

"We know Bordeaux can narrow the gap to only two points but we are ready to fight until the last game," he added.

Later on Saturday, Nancy moved up to third place with a 3-0 home win against second from bottom Racing Strasbourg, who look doomed to relegation after their ninth consecutive defeat.

Marseille, two points behind Nancy on 58 points, will retake the last qualifying spot for the Champions League from the Lorraine side if they beat Bordeaux.  Continued...
