Mattia Cassani scored from distance late on to snatch a win for Palermo after an end-to-end encounter where third-placed Juve had fought back from 2-0 down.
Palermo striker Amauri, a transfer target for Juve, curled in on 11 minutes after Alessandro Del Piero gave the ball away in midfield and he scored again with a towering header on halftime.
Del Piero, offside in the build-up, kept his cool to fire home early in the second period and then netted on the rebound after keeper Alberto Fontana saved David Trezeguet's header. Del Piero then struck the post with a free kick but Cassani had the last word.

ATALANTA BERGAMO 0 INTER MILAN 2
Inter re-established their four-point lead at the top after Patrick Vieira headed in Mario Balotelli's corner on 21 minutes and Balotelli rounded the keeper in the second half for his first league goal.
Atalanta complained France midfieder Vieira had climbed over the back of a defender Maximiliano Pellegrino but the first goal stood. Home midfielder Cristiano Doni was dismissed late on for two bookings for dissent. Continued...
