Soccer-Sweden's Ibrahimovic out of Brazil friendly
GOTHENBURG, Sweden, March 23 (Reuters) - Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been ruled out of Sweden's friendly with Brazil in London on Wednesday because of a knee problem, the Swedish FA said on Sunday.
"We spoke this morning and we agreed it is best for him to take the chance for some rehab and rest his knee," coach Lars Lagerback said in a statement. "He's played on painkillers for a couple of matches now."
Sunderland striker Rade Prica will replace Ibrahimovic in the squad while Mikael Dorsin has been called up to replace Wigan's Erik Edman, who injured his knee ligaments in the 3-1 loss at Blackburn on Saturday. (Writing by Oliver Grassman; editing by Miles Evans)
