NEW YORK (Reuters) - E*Trade Financial Corp (ETFC.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday that Chief Financial Officer Robert Simmons will depart by May 9, becoming the latest senior executive to leave the online brokerage, which has struggled with heavy mortgage losses.
Matthew Audette, 33, will be acting CFO while the company looks for a permanent replacement.
In March, New York-based E*Trade announced the resignation of R. Jarrett Lilien as chief operating officer, effective May 16. Last November, Chief Executive Mitchell Caplan was ousted.
