PARIS (Reuters) - French car parts maker Valeo VLOFPA> said on Thursday it planned to sell its heavy duty truck engine cooling division to Swedish private equity firm EQT for a undisclosed amount.

The sale of the division, which generated sales of 176 million euros in 2007 and employed around 900 people, is in line with Valeo's strategy to divest non-core assets, the statement said..
