Airbus Reports Feb Orders Including a Private A350
PARIS (Reuters) - Airbus received gross orders for 366 aircraft in the first two months of the year, the jetliner subsidiary of Europe's EADS (EAD.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday.
After adjusting for cancellations it received 341 orders.
It delivered 75 planes over the same period.
February's 128 new orders included the first sale to a private customer of the Airbus A350-900, a future competitor to Boeing's successful 787 Dreamliner with a price tag of $230 million per plane.
