Alitalia says receives 300 mln euro bridge loan
ROME (Reuters) - Italy's loss-making airline Alitalia (AZPIa.MI: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it had received a 300 million-euro bridge loan given by the outgoing centre-left government to keep it flying until a new buyer is found.
The European Union, which allows state aid to airlines only under strict conditions, has expressed doubts over the emergency loan.
