Volkswagen Group Vehicle Sales Up 11.1 Pct in Jan
FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Volkswagen (VOWG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's fourth largest carmaker, enjoyed a record January after growing group vehicle sales by 11.1 percent to 485,500 units last month, the company said on Friday.
"With our brands and our constantly expanding range of models we are optimally positioned as a group and head into the next sales months with complete confidence," the head of group sales, Detlef Wittig, said in a statement.
