MINSK, June 9 (Reuters) - Belarussian inflation slowed to 6.1 percent year-on-year in May versus 6.3 percent a month earlier, the country's state statistics service said on Friday.
Last year, inflation eased to 10.6 percent from 12 percent in 2015. The government expects it to hit around 9 percent by end-2017. (Reporting by Andrey Makhovksy; Writing by Alessandra Prentice; Editing by Gareth Jones)
