Brazil says won't let real appreciate after Fed stimulus

BRASILIA, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Brazil may deploy an "arsenal" of measures to stop its currency from appreciating after the Federal Reserve announced an aggressive stimulus program to boost the U.S. economy, Finance Minister Guido Mantega said on Thursday.

The Fed's measures will likely increase dollar inflows to emerging economies such as Brazil, but the government will not allow the real to appreciate, Mantega told reporters in Brasilia.
