Experian said plans Pricegrabber sale
LONDON (Reuters) - Credit information firm Experian (EXPN.L: Quote, Profile, Research) has put its Pricegrabber shopping comparison Web site up for sale, the Sunday Times reported, less than three years after paying almost $500 million (255 million pounds) for it.
Without citing sources, the newspaper said Experian had appointed the American boutique advisory house Allen & Co to find buyers.
Experian said in January it was reviewing its portfolio of businesses. It could not be reached for comment on Sunday.
