Al Khatib is no moderate cleric as claimed here. First he is no cleric, secondly he is a supporter of Al Qaeda linked terror group Al Nusra. Thirdly he was a heavy supporter of Al Qaeda in the past. Fourthly he was and is a man of western oil interests en last he therefore is a fraud and a Quisling selling his country for whatever comes along.
His moderation is only the result of work done by Western PR.
He also should know you can’t demand something not to be achieved on the battlefield. Assad in fact should send the man to trial for treason.
