SANTIAGO (Reuters) - Chile's largest brewer, CCU (CU.N: Quote, Profile, Research) CCN.SN, said on Monday its sales volume rose 10.8 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2008.

The rise in sales was strongest in Argentina, where it is the second-largest beer producer. Sales volume there rose 13.5 percent from the same period in 2007. Sales volume rose 10.1 percent in Chile.
