NEW YORK (Reuters) - Liz Claiborne Inc (LIZ.N: Quote, Profile, Research) is informally seeking a buyer for its fragrance business, which includes scents like Liz Claiborne, Curve and Usher, industry paper Women's Wear Daily reported on Thursday.

Citing industry sources, WWD said Coty Inc and Elizabeth Arden Inc (RDEN.O: Quote, Profile, Research) may be two out of a number of interested parties.

Officials from Liz Claiborne, Elizabeth Arden and Coty were not immediately available for comment.
