BOSTON (Reuters) - Packaging maker Owens-Illinois Inc (OI.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Tuesday it supported Boston Beer Co's (SAM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) decision to recall some of its Samuel Adams beer after discovering that some bottles may contain small grains or bits of glass.

Owens-Illinois said it made the bottles in question, but that its investigation so far has shown that they were made to its normal specifications.
